This time I just wanted to be "the singer" and I think it's some of the best singing I've done. I didn't want another rock album as I've just done two on the fly. I'm very happy with it.

Of course I could have done a lot more songs but I've chosen ten I think fit together well and I've stuck to classics. The Bowie cover was recorded the week that he died so the vocal performance may not be perfect but I sang it once and it came straight from the heart.

Tracklisting:

Changes (Black Sabbath)
Pocahontas (Neil Young)
Run To Me (Bee Gees)
Baltimore (Randy Newman)
Life On Mars? (David Bowie)
The Killing Moon (Echo And The Bunnymen)
Montague Terrace In Blue (Scott Walker)
Memory Motel (Rolling Stones)
The Crystal Ship (Doors)
Time Ain't Nothin' (Green On Red)

All copies will be personally signed.

Many thanks for your patronage, it isn't taken lightly trust me. IMc February 2016

OUT OF STOCK

Ian's last album ‘Krugerrands’ is available exclusively here at ianmcnabb.com.

Ian: “When I write a song, I like to capture the magic and get the energy down ‘on tape’ as quickly as possible. Sometimes when I look back however, I realise that some songs can continue to grow and evolve after I have released them into the wild - often morphing into much more ‘substantial’ propositions, as anyone who has witnessed recent blistering live outings of ‘Hurricane Elaine’ or ‘High On A Hill’ will testify. Now feels like the right time for me to make a more permanent record of these arrangements, showcasing the songs as they are now in their fully ‘grown up’ form. In addition to a number of re-workings, the album will also include a new McNabb composition and a very tastefully chosen cover version. This album will allow me to clear the decks, scratch an itch and pave the way for the next McNabb opus, which is shaping up very nicely thank you!”.
