recording sourcesThere are several sources for Ian McNabb and Icicle Works CDs and LPs. new releases and in-print itemsukThe "recommended" source for Ian McNabb recordings is Townsend Records. See also the Merchandise Page. For most new releases, CDs should be available in most high street shops in the UK. Ask for them! europeFor you folks in Europe as well as everywhere else that might have trouble finding stuff: Cyber CD of Germany has several McNabb items, including singles. It may a good source for people on the continent. In the past, they've had new copies of releases at great prices long after others have sold out, including many first-runs with bonus discs, such as Best Kept Secrets and Northwest Coast. usaFor those in the US, I've had good luck with getting new McNabb releases (T & B through Merseybeast) from EAR/Rational Music of Boulder, Colorado. The owner, Dave, is great at getting new stuff at low prices. EAR/Rational now takes credit cards via PayPal, and PayPal now works internationally. Many larger online shops now carry imports. Also, many of the UK shops listed above will now ship to the US. old, used, and rareuk, second-handSome rare/used Ian McNabb and Icicle Works materials are occasionally available from Vinyl Tap Records in the UK. For Ian McNabb, type in "Mc Nabb" with a space for the search. Another source is Action Records in the UK. Action Records was my source for the Permanent Damage CD. Although Permanent Damage was no longer available the last time I checked, you may want to check them out for other items. Both Vinyl Tap and Action will apparently ship overseas. One fan recently recommended NetSounds a web site that features some 300 independent UK dealers. You can also visit eBay UK which will limit your search to eBay™ items in the UK or sellers that accept payment in British pounds sterling. usa and elsewhere, second-handMany of the shops in the UK now regularly ship to the US and overseas, so be sure to check them out, above. Similar to Netsounds is GEMM, which features over 4000 independent US and European dealers. GEMM and Netsounds allow you to quickly find lots of collectible items at a wide range of prices. Don't forget to check out places like eBay™ where you can always find some poor fool who is shamefully selling his or her Icicle Works or Ian McNabb items...or maybe a friendly fan who has an extra copy of something. beggars banquetFinally, portions of the old Beggars Banquet catalog are still available directly from Beggars Banquet at their website.
